By:

Debuting #1 on the IFPI chart in her native Denmark, Tina Dico will release the two-disc collection Welcome Back Colour on February 1. Welcome Back Color has been in the Top 5 of the Danish IFPI chart for the past three months and sales are Double Platinum. Dico's seventh studio album is a greatest hits collection containing her most beloved songs and five new singles. The album features both the upbeat on Disc One Welcome Up and downtempo on Disc Two Welcome Down. Dico will embark on a ten day U.S. tour kicking off at Annapolis's Ramshead Tavern on January 30 winding through New York's Highline Ballroom on January 31 before heading for West Coast cities. Please see list of dates on back.

Dico is the voice of Zero 7's classic album When It Falls. She has received a host of accolades in her native Denmark winning Best Female Singer and Best Female Songwriter at the Danish Music Awards. Dico also won two Roberts, the Danish equivalent of our Oscars and is a winner of the 2008 Danish Crown Prince and Princess Cultural Award. She has combined album sales in excess of 350,000 worldwide while selling out countless shows including London's Shepherds Bush Empire and New York's Highline Ballroom. Tina also headlined the main stage of the Roskilde Festival performing for 40,000 revelers following both Radiohead and Neil Young. Over the years Dico has performed on KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic" and WXPN's "World Café."

Welcome Back Colour draws from Tina expansive career picking key songs from her previous albums including Fuel (2001), Notes (2004), In The Red (2005), Count To Ten (2007), the three album collection A Beginning, A Detour, An Opening Ending (2008) and The Road To Gavle (2009). USA Today calls Dico "an unexpected delight" while Newsweek proclaims "this compelling Danish songwriter tackles life's energy and soul-searching with captivating melodies."

Welcome Back Colour contains previously unreleased single B-sides and duets. The title track is a multi-layered, experimental collaboration with Icelandic instrumentalist Helgi Jonsson while additional new tracks include Paper Thin and Instead. The album contains Love All Around and Goldhawk Road, two songs which were previously unavailable in the U.S. Nine of her classics, such as Count To Ten, Warm Sand and On The Run, complete the album.
