Composer and lyricist Jonathan Brielle will perform in an evening of his original songs - "I Saw Broadway," on Monday, April 25 at 7pm at Birdland Jazz Club (315 W. 44th Street).

Jonathan Brielle's "I Saw Broadway" features songs and stars from three of his new musicals including Himself and Nora, 40 Naked Women, A Monkey & Me, and Nightmare Alley. Songs will be performed by a dazzling group of Broadway's brightest stars includingMatt Bogart (Himself and Nora, Jersey Boys), Veanne Cox (American In Paris) and Rose Hemingway (How to Succeed...), backed by Brielle and his hard swinging musicians. The musical director/pianist for the evening will be Jeff Klitz.

Jonathan's new musical Himself and Nora, starring Matt Bogart as James Joyce, begins previews at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane) on May 14th with opening night set for June 6th. Himself and Nora is a passionate musical that reveals the private life of one of modern literature's most controversial figures - James Joyce - and illustrates the untold story of Joyce's lifelong love and muse Nora.
