GROUNDHOG DAY's Jenna Rubaii to Make Solo Concert Debut
Broadway's Jenna Rubaii ("Joelle" in the Original Cast of GROUNDHOG DAY) will be making her solo concert debut on Thursday, July 5th at Club Bonafide, 212 E. 52nd St., New York, NY, 10022 at 9:30 pm.
A fixture in the Downtown/Brooklyn music scene alongside her songwriting partner Luke Wygodny with the folk band WATER & RYE, Jenna will be taking the stage alone for one night only, re-mixing an eclectic evening of pop songs with a unique band lead by pianist Jacob Fjeldheim (ULTIMATE STORYTIME) in a genre they've collectively dubbed "chamber-indie-pop-jazz fusion".
The set will include re-interpretations of songs by an array of artists from Dolly Parton to Muse to Peggy Lee to Miley Cyrus.
Jenna's previous theatre credits include "Extraordinary Girl" in the International Tour of AMERICAN IDIOT and "Stephanie Mangano" in the Asian Tour of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER.
