Ryan Flynn and Maria Theo will host Emma Hunton, Tim Young and more during "Songs for a Cure," a night of song to benefit DKMS and former Lion King cast member battling AML leukemia, Shannon Tavarez, August 16th at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

Conceived and Produced by Flynn and Theo, "Songs for a Cure" boasts a list of young and upcoming talent in the Broadway and theatre community. Joining Hunton (Spring Awakening) and Young (Next to Normal), scheduled performers include Danny Quadrino (Bye, Bye, Birdie), Catherine Blades (Bye, Bye, Birdie), Drexel Heard (Over Here! Reading) Sarah Hunt, Chase Davidson, Krystina Alabado (Spring Awakening: First National Tour), and other additional performers.

Performances begin at 7pm. There is a $20 cover charge and a $15 food and drink minimum. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located at 407 W 42nd Street. To make reservations call 212.695.6909.
