Dee Roscioli Sings STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART in 54 Below Debut Tonight

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Dee Roscioli in "Straight from the Heart," tonight, September 30th at 9:30 pm. This will mark her debut at the supper club. Roscioli will share her unique, heartfelt and dynamic voice on popular tunes from the pop, folk, and rock canon. Audiences can look forward to favorites from Cyndi Lauper, Bobby McFerrin, Whitney Houston and more, plus contemporary artists like Sara Bareilles and Pharell. Roscioli promises "I'm taking some of my favorite pop hits on a roller coaster on this stage, so buckle up!"

54 Below has lined up some of NYC's top talents to join Roscioli for this one-night-only event. Jason Yarcho will lead the band with his music direction and arrangements. Director Adam Fleming will help shape the evening, and Colin Hanlon (Submissions Only) will make a special appearance and share not only his vocal talents, but one or two embarrassing anecdotes about his long-time pal Dee.

Dee Roscioli's "Straight from the Heart" plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Tuesday September 30th. There is a $25 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Dee Roscioli, originally from Easton PA, is best known for her portrayal of the green skinned heroine Elphaba in Wicked. Having performed the role on broadway and cities across America over 1,000 she is super excited to be let loose at 54 Below. Some favorite roles include Mrs. Lovett at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival; Sara in Murder ballad at Manhattan Theatre Club (Lab) and New York Stage and Film (workshop premiere) Delphine in Dedalus Lounge (NYC premiere, with Anthony Rapp) Grizabella, Cats National Tour. She performed her solo cabaret Decidedly Dee to sold out audiences at Birdland Jazz here in NYC and in Chicago. She has also had the privilege of performing with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, the Missouri Symphony Orchestra, and most recently Taiwan's Evergreen Symphony.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife. A few blocks from the heart of Times Square and just below the legendary Studio 54, 54 BELOW is a classically designed state-of-the art nightclub in the theatre district that hosts audiences with warmth and style. The venue provides a food and beverage menu from early evening through the wee hours of the morning that is worthy of the world-class entertainment on the stage. Located at 254 West 54th Street, 54 BELOW features up to three shows nightly with cover charges ranging from $15-$95.
