What happens when you pair up a New York nightlife icon and one of the premiere vocalists of the South? New York City is about to find out this summer at the Triad Theater. Daniel Lincoln and JWalker, who have been collaborating on the album Photos on the Floor for over a year, will take to the stage in a series of concerts promoting the album's upcoming release by Green List Productions.

Nightlife icon Daniel Lincoln, known for his skillful songwriting, virtuosic piano playing, and charismatic stage presence, has become a fixture of New York's cabaret scene at the helm of nightlife institutions like The Girly Show (with Justin Van Pelt), The Broadway Brouhaha (with Brandon Cutrell), and seasonal cabaret series such as Broadway at the Bistro (Lively Arts Productions) and The Stonewall Singalong (with renowned impersonator Jason Cozmo). This fall, Daniel Lincoln will be in London promoting his new musical, Wrong Could Be Right (written with British playwright Mary Stewart-David), and is reportedly in talks to make his London cabaret debut while there. This comes on the heels of the successful industry presentation of another of Lincoln's musicals, Miss Humanity (Dramatists Guild, NYC), which he is currently developing with Hollywood screenwriter Michael DiGaetano. In 2009, Queen Bea: A Soapsical (which Lincoln wrote with New York playwright Gena Oppenheim) enjoyed a sold-out run in New York City starring the cast of ABC's Daytime Drama, One Life to Live.

Jay Walker Sauls, who goes by the stage name "JWalker," is a North Carolina native who made his name singing gospel music. His debut album, Photos on the Floor, will feature original songs written by Daniel Lincoln. Lincoln is also acting as Music Director for the project, and for JWalker's New York City appearances. Their first single, "Always," was released on Itunes at the beginning of 2011, with proceeds benefiting the Brain Tumor Foundation. JWalker recently performed "Always" to a crowd of over 5,000 fans at Duke's Angels Among Us fundraising event, an event which raised over $1.8 million for the research and treatment of brain tumors.

The Photos on the Floor pre-release concert dates at the Triad Theater are Saturday June 4th (7pm), Thursday July 14th (9pm), and Monday August 15th (7pm). Proceeds from these concerts benefit the Brain Tumor Foundation. The Triad Theater is located at 158 West 72nd Street, near the corner of West 72nd and Broadway.

Tickets are available on the Triad Theater website (www.triadnyc.com).
