Dame DaDA Comes to New York for One Night Only The radical and whimsical stand up story hour Dame daDa & the Meta Show roars into town from America's most protruding state for her New York City debut at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street, New York, NY) on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 9:30pm.

Trashy or treasured? Abstract or simply appalling? Nichole Hamilton has brought Dame daDA to vibrant life with glamour of Katherine Hepburn and the clowning of Norma Desmond. Part stand up and part storytelling, Dame daDA & the Meta Show is an interactive romp through the topsy-turvy mind of a serious madwoman.

Dame daDA & the Meta Show debuted at the 2016 Burning Man Festival, the pop-up desert metropolis that appears once a year in the Navada desert. From there, the Dame shot across the nation, leaving stunned and tickled audiences in her wake, including Center Camp's Spoken Word Stage, "The Zenith" created by sTeVe TV, Acrosstown Repertory's "Homegrown Festival," the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and as part of filmmaker James Babanikos' "Portrait of an Actor."

Hamilton has acted, directed, and taught throughout the country. She has starred in several seasons at Florida's legendary Hippodrome Theatre as well as Weathervane Playhouse, California Theatre Center, TheatreWorks, North Carolina Stage Co., and more. She is the winner of... our hearts.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door plus a two (2) drink minimum. For tickets, visit www.purplepass.com. For more about the Dame, visit www.damedada.com.
