DEAR CHARLIE to Play the Laurie Beechman, 2/20 & 3/13
What do you get when you combine New York's favorite Matchmaker with a night of song? You get "Dear Charlie". Do you remember being on a date and not knowing what to say next? Do you feel lost looking for love in the big city? Charlie will offer an engaging evening of song, advice, and cunning humor as he takes you down Lovers' Lane.
"Dear Charlie" at the Laurie Beechman Theater, 407 W. 42nd St. is an evening of pop hits and standards; Wednesdays, February 20th and March 13th at 7pm. $20 cover, $15 food/drink min. Tickets can be purchased at http://dearcharlie.eventbrite.com.
Joined by Musical Director David Andrews Rogers, who has led national tours of Fiddler on the Roof, Cats, and Chicago, "DearCharlie" will guide you on a whirlwind tour through the ins and outs of love. With his new cabaret show, Charlie will bring his matchmaking secrets center stage, allowing love to carry the evening as he offers advice on communication, first dates, special moments, and achieving lifelong love.

CharlieTheMatchmaker, Charlie Maffei, is a singer who has performed at both cabaret venues and stadiums throughout the New York Metro Area and Atlanta. As a matchmaker, Charlie has worked with hundreds of clients to help them find love in the most romantic city on earth -- New York. Charlie is also a contributing writer for The Huffington Post and My Lifestyle Magazine. He has been seen and heard on numerous TV and radio shows. He and his husband, of 22 years live in Manhattan.
