Recently nominated for the Excellence in Theatre Education TONY Award, CORINNA SOWERS ADLER returns to the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, for a three shows starting on October 22 and continuing through December 19. Her new show entitled, HIGH STANDARDS, is a musical journey through some of the best music ever written, reimagined by Musical Director, Alex Rybeck on piano.

HIGH STANDARDS will be performed on October 22 at 7pm, November 1 and December 19 at 4pm.

Corinna made her solo cabaret debut in 2010 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Ms. Sowers Adler has created two reoccurring musical series that showcase up and coming musicians and performers. She is the Executive Director of Gas Lamp Academy of Performing Arts in Glen Ridge, NJ and the owner and Founding Artistic Director of NiCori Studios and Productions.

Her many New York engagements include venues such as Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Feinstein's/54 Below, Feinstein's at Loews Regency and Stage 72. Corinna hosts the "Music at the Mansion" series, which was nominated for a 2012 MAC Award. She was also a 2012 and 2014 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards in the "Best Female Vocalist" and "Best Host of a Variety Show" categories.

Musical Director, Alex Rybeck, is a pianist, arranger, composer, and music director, who is internationally recognized for his work on Broadway, in cabarets and concerts, and on recordings.
