The ensemble cast includes Kacie Sheik (Hair), Laura Dreyfuss (Once), Adam Cochran (The Last Goodbye), Grace McLean (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Brandon Ellis (Once), Stephen Bogardus (Falsetto's Orig. Cast), Eric William Morris (XYZXYZ), Alex Cooper, and Ted Koch, who joins following his performance in Huntington Theatre Company's The Seagull earlier this year.

Directed by JV Mercanti who recently associate directed Romeo and Juliet on Broadway is well equipped to construct the acoustic/folk world of the Songbird, having directed Floyd Collins in Miami, as well as This Property is Condemned and 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, in the evening Three by Tennessee Williams.
