Broadway Sessions, the weekly musical theater themed evening at The Midtown Theater, will continue this Thursday evening May 12th. The long running show will feature performances by Tituss Burgess, Providence the Musical and more.

Tituss Burgess has starred on Broadway in The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Guys and Dolls (Nicely Nicely), Jersey Boys and Good Vibrations. Burgess will be premiering new original work from his upcoming solo album.

Providence the Musical, by Danny Codden and Leah Miles, will be running May 22-26th at The Richmond Shepard Theatre. Cast members from the interactive musical comedy scheduled to perform Thursday evening include Jennifer Wren Campbell, Kathryn Hart, Madison Stratton, Dianna Duffy and Amy Burgess.

Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is hosted by Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:30 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is no cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
