Benjamin Scheuer Performs Tonight at 54 Below
54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents BENJAMIN SCHEUER -star of THE LION- tonight, November 19, 2014, at 930pm.
Scheuer, writer/performer of this summer's hit show THE LION, "The best new musical this year," (Huffington Post) performs a set of his songs from THE LION and from other projects, including his band Escapist Papers. Scheuer is joined on stage by bassist/synthesis Geoff Kraly, Scheuer's long-time record producer.
Scheuer is fresh from a UK tour with 5-time Grammy-Award-winner Mary Chapin Carpenter; their performances included a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
Cole Porter Award-winner Scheuer "plays guitar like it's an extension of himself" (Time Out, London) and "is New York's next great young songwriter." (Andrew Lippa.)
