BOOK OF MORMON's Matt Doyle Returns to 54 Below Tonight
Matt Doyle will follow up his sold-out 54 Below debut engagement in May with two additional shows tonight, August 15 and Saturday, August 16 at 8pm. Matt is excited to bring back an energetic night of his original music and crowd-pleasing pop classics. Arranged by Will Van Dyke and accompanied by the band The Whiskey 5, the light-hearted set will feature many songs Matt has always wanted to sing, but never had the chance to. He will be joined by special guests Bonnie Milligan, Katy Pfaffl, and Nicolette Robinson.
Matt recently starred as Elder Price in The Book of Mormon on Broadway. He is also known for his work on Broadway in War Horse, Spring Awakening, and Bye Bye Birdie. His most-recent stage appearance was in the Off-Broadway smash,Jasper in Deadland. Co-Written by composer Will Van Dyke, Matt's EPs ("Daylight" and "Constant") both launched in the Top 40 on the iTunes pop charts.
