The Cabaret at The Columbia Club announces its 2013 Summer/Fall lineup.

The season kicks off on June 6th with Saturday Night Live favorite and star of ABC's Suburgatory, Ana Gasteyer. "Most people don't know that Ana can seriously sing," says Shannon Forsell, Executive and Artistic Director of The Cabaret. "But Ana has belted it out with the best of them, starring as the famed green witch in Broadway's Wicked (later originating the role in the Chicago production), in The Threepenny Opera with Alan Cumming, and Sondheim's Passion at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre," says Forsell.

The comedy superstar will don a dress and work her hardest to keep the evening elegant in her cabaret show Elegant Songs from a Handsome Woman. Fronting a swinging ensemble, Gasteyer's powerhouse vocals will be featured in Broadway ditties, standards and more.

The lineup also spotlights some of Broadway's elite. Wicked and Rent star, Eden Espinosa adds a modern twist to Broadway in her new show Look Around; theatre icon, Betty Buckley bests the boys by taking on songs traditionally sung by leading men in Ah! Men; celebrated songstress, Christine Andreas celebrates the romantic side of Great American Songbook in Love is Good, and Fosse diva, Valarie Pettiford struts her stuff in And All That Jazz. Closing out the season, Broadway's hottest male voices, The Broadway Boys, infuse the holidays with their dynamic vocal prowess and redefining arrangements, adding elements of pop, funk and gospel to traditional holiday songs and inspirational show tunes in Hark!

International chanteuse, Louise Pitre, brings her show La Vie en Rouge, a celebration of French composers and tribute to cabaret icon, Edith Piaf, to mark the 50th anniversary of the famed French chanteuse's death.

Local favorites will also grace the stage, including Deb Mullins with her new show Bluesville; theatre veteran Karen Irwin with A Piece of Her Heart, A Tribute to Janis Joplin; and The Cabaret's Executive Director, Shannon Forsell, takes audience requests in By Request, for The Cabaret's 2013 fundraiser.

The Cabaret's free, new, under 35 club, "The Lounge," continues to grow, still offering 20% ticket discounts, invitations to exclusive pre-show soirees, and exclusive access to last-minute deep ticket discount opportunities. Membership can be obtained online or via the box office.

As always, food and libations are also on the roster. Before the show audience members can take in dinner and a variety of appetizers or desserts in addition to a vast array of fine wines, cocktails, or a perfectly pourEd Martini.

2013 tickets go on sale on Tuesday, April 2nd. All performances are open to the public. For tickets call 317.275.1169, or order online at www.TheCabaret.org. Subscription packages are available.

The Cabaret is located in The Columbia Club at 121 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
