Amari, Baker and Holmes' TIN PANS AND RAGS Comes to Palm Springs, 6/17

Desert favorites: Francesca Amari, Joel Baker, and Michael Holmes have put together a sure-fire hit with "Tin Pans and Rags" and it will be presented Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Life Is A Cabaret's Sundays In Summer Series presented by Les Michaels at the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert." It is their tribute to the Tin Pan Alley and Ragtime Music made popular by such composers as Scott Joplin, George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, and even the impressionistic Claude Debussy.

And who better than Francesca, Joel, and Michael to celebrate the enormous influences of this dynamic era and the wonderful evolution of modern jazz and blues? Each of them stands alone as popular entertainers both here in the desert and on the national level. Francesca is a frequent cabaret artist and musical theater actress. Joel is a favorite on the piano bar, cabaret open mic circuit as well as a sought-after music director for many major productions. Michael can be seen singing jazz and standards with his trio, and as his many characters in The Judy Show, which has been a favorite attraction here for nearly 5 years. Together they will be an unstoppable tour de force in "Tin Pans and Rags" that you are sure to love.

"Tin Pans and Rags" starring Francesca Amari, Joel Baker, and Michael Holmes in a musical review with live piano accompaniment, takes place on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at The Arthur Newman Theatre at 2 PM.
