Alex Syiek to Bring HELLA CRAZEE HOLIDAYZEE to Feinstein's/54 Below

Alex Syiek (writer of last summer's Feinstein's/54 Below parody hit The Pokémusical) and his Hella Crazee lads and ladies are proud to bring their all-holiday extravaganza to Feinstein's/54 Below! Produced in part by frequent NYC holiday-cabaret-funhaus Cabarets by J&J, Hella Crazee Holidayzee is an entire year full of musical holiday experiences stuffed into one raucous night.

Featuring New Years' hangovers, Patty's Day Leprechaun hunts, 4th of July fervor, and spiteful Christmas mornings, Hella Crazee Holidayzee is guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, or awkwardly cry through your laughter. Join us for a festive escapade you'll never forget!

Hella Crazee Holidayzee features the talent of Malik Akil (Holiday Inn), Liz Barnett, James Penca (Love In Hate Nation, The Circus in Winter), Keri Rene, Colton Ryan (Dear Evan Hansen, "Law and Order: SVU," "Homeland"), Amanda Savan (Fancy Nancy, Peter Panic), Kyle Selig (Mean Girls, Joan of Arc: Into the Fire, Book of Mormon), and Shannon Tyo (Broadway Bounty Hunter). The cast is backed up by a rocking band including Jacob Fjeldheim, Patrick Hyzy, Mickey Ryan, Alex Syiek, Patrick Thompson, and Danny Ursetti.

Hella Crazee Holidayzee plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on December 8th, 2017 at 9:30 PM. There is a $25 - $35 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Alex Syiek is a Manhattan-based performer, composer, and wordsperson. Past Musicals: The Pokémusical (Book and Lyrics), Giraffenstein (Book, Music, Lyrics), Howard, Henry, and Pearl (Music and Lyrics). One of his projects Alex is looking forward to the most is Around the World in 80 Days (Without the Use of Air-Based Engine-Powered Vehicles, Such As Planes and Helicopters [With the Exception of Hot-Air-Balloons]), a modern musical spin on a classic, which will tour elementary schools across Idaho this January - April 2018. Also Alex is writing music and lyrics to Oh Hi, Johnny, a musical parody based on the cult classic film The Room, which will premiere in Orlando, FL in January 2018. Alex's songs have been featured in William Finn's annual concert, Songs By Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists You Probably Don't Know, But Should. Alex is a proud graduate of NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program (Cycle 26).
