A MUSICAL DOUBLE DATE WITH LAUREN AND SUZANNE Set for the Duplex, 3/27
Feola Theatricals will present A MUSICAL DOUBLE DATE WITH LAUREN AND SUZANNE, a unique cabaret experience featuring embarrassing dating stories paired with a musical theater soundtrack. This one-night-only cabaret, featuring Suzanne Lenz and Lauren Leland will be held on Wednesday March 27th at 7:00pm at The Duplex on Christopher Street.
A Musical Double Date features the talents of Suzanne Lenz, Lauren Leland, Michael Larsen, and Jeff Raab.
LAUREN LELAND is from Tallahassee Fl. She earned a BA in Performing Arts from The University of Tampa. Since coming to NY, Lauren has studied acting at T. Schreiber Studios, improv at Upright Citizens Brigade, and musical theater with VP Boyle. She is a voice student of Mary Walkley. Most recent NY theater credits include:Laura Ingalls Wilder(Artspower) and New York(The Group Theater Too). Lauren has also performed at Busch Gardens theme park in the hit show, "Critter Castaways." Lauren's acting career has been much like her love life, a series of ups and downs but she keeps coming back for more!
SUZANNE LENZ recent credits include Smiles to Saturn (Bleecker Street Theatre) and Laura Ingalls Wilder(ArtsPower). Other New York credits: West Lethargy (59E59/Edinburgh Fringe Festival/FringeNYC), Julius Caesar (Queens Players), Richard III (Extant Arts) and Carousel (Village Light Opera Group) and guest starring roles on TV shows, Celebrity Ghost Stories and I Married a Mobster. Her short film Tilt of a Rosewill be hitting the festival circuit in 2013. Regionally, she has performed with the Berkshire Theatre Festival and the Kentucky Repertory Theatre. She is a graduate of Davidson College and the British American Drama Academy in London. She is currently earning her doctorate in stealthy bad date getaways at Typical New York City Bar University.
