Special Agent Galactica Will Play Don't Tell Mama November 14th

By:

Special Agent Galactica, along with Captain Satellite, her pilot and guitarist, weave together an intimate evening of songs, stories and a good old laugh or two. Featuring music of the Golden Age of Jazz, the Blues of Burlesque, Hollywood standards and some good old rock and roll favorites, Galactica enchants with tales about her past missions, her love life, her time as a cadet, important people she's met along the way, and other anecdotal gems from her life as a hired assassin for the privately owned securities organization referred to only as "The Agency".

Special Agent Galactica is a mix of sultry songstress, retro-rock chick, jazzy vocalist rolled up in a sexy secret agent spy. She electrifies the stage with her swelling interpretations of the music that we love while weaving momentary glimpses into the larger stories that makeup her top-secret Multverse spanning career. Living a life where her deadly missions often take her into the realm of spacetime, she finds an evening of intimate cabaret during her down time helps to keep her in check.

In addition to being an immediate sellout at the amphitheater in ancient Pompeii, in this day and age the "Pink Haired One" not only holds court in her home town of Washington DC, but can be seen beaming into the prestigious The Duplex or the world famous Don't Tell Mama in NYC as well as traveling in her Timeship, Aurora, to many other haunts up and down the north east coast.

From 2003-2011 Galactica was known around Washington, DC for her unique theatrical lip-sync shows including her runaway hit of the Capitol Fringe Festival in DC in 2010. In 2013 The Agency upgraded her internal drives and she began her live sung collaboration with the critically acclaimed jazz/classical guitarist, Peter Fields and together they have developed a continually changing theatrical cabaret that brings a more intimate, one on one storytelling/musical experience.

Never one to stop creating...always inspired by the stories of her time and space traveling special agent lifestyle...forever searching for her next favorite song, Special Agent Galactica has, quite literally, the Multiverse waiting for what she has next to offer!

Jeffrey Johnson is the creator of Special Agent Galactica and is also known for his show EDIE BEALE LIVE AT RENO SWEENEY which he recently brought back to Feinstein's/54 Below early last month. He was the Artistic Director for eight years of Ganymede Arts, the only LGBT Theatre Company in Washington DC. In addition to DC, Jeffrey has appeared on such prestigious stages as: Joe's Pub, 54 Below, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, BES Nightclub, The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC; the Rrazz Room in San Francisco; at Show at Barre in Los Angeles. He also performed his Edie Beale show at 54 Below twice in 2014.
