X FACTOR Contestants to Visit Judge's 'Homes', 10/12

The remaining 32 acts on THE X FACTOR will have a challenging week in store for them as they visit the "homes" of their assigned mentors.

For this week's episodes, L.A. Reid will be mentoring the boys, Simon Cowell the girls, Nicole Scherzinger - the over 30's and Paula Abdul - the groups. The first LIVE performance of the show will begin airing Ocotober 25 on FOX.

The 32 acts that survived the previous week's "Boot Camp" will be whisked away to their mentor's home, or to a location of the judge's choice, for their final shot at earning a place on the live shows. With everything on the line, the contestants will have to perform well enough to convince their judge, and another surprise celebrity guest mentor, that they deserve one of the coveted spots in each judge's final category.

Tune in to the "Judges' Homes" round and find out who will survive on Wednesday, Oct. 12 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and Thursday, Oct. 13 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Then on a special episode airing Tuesday, Oct. 18 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT), the "Judges' Homes" round comes to a dramatic conclusion as the judges and their celebrity guest mentors decide which acts will go home and which will continue. On a special extended two-and-a-half-hour episode airing Tuesday, Oct. 25 (8:00-10:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), don't miss THE X FACTOR when the remaining acts perform LIVE for the first time.
