TVLine.com reports that Broadway vet William Daniels will be making a guest star appearance on an upcoming episode of ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY. Winner of two Emmy awards for his role as Dr. Mark Craig on 'St Elsewhere', the actor will once again play a doctor on the long-running ABC medical drama.

Daniels is expected to appear in one of the season's final episodes and portray a doctor overseeing the medical boards taken by the Seattle Grace residents. Grey's Sandra Oh told TVLine, “It’s actually really hilarious! I just shot the entire boards episode with the wonderful William Daniels, who played Cristina’s proctor. It was phenomenal to be working opposite him.”

Along with his role on St. Elsewhere, Daniels’ TV credits include Boy Meets World and the voice of Knight Rider‘s K.I.T.T. He appeared on the big screen as Dustin Hoffman’s father in The Graduate. Daniels portrayed founding father John Adams in both the Broadway and film versions of 1776. His other Broadway credits include A Thousand Clowns, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Little Night Music, and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.

GREY'S ANATOMY will return with all new episodes this Thursday at 9/8c.
