On this Wednesday's episode of CBS' SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC, the challenge is called "Family Ties".  Host Jeff Probst and Dream Team member and special host Ashley give you an early look at the challenge. SURVIVOR:SOUTH PACIFIC airs Wednesday at 8/7c on CBS.

Eighteen castaways began the competition on SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC.  The 18 castaways were divided into two Tribes of nine: the Savaii Tribe and the Upolu Tribe, named after the two islands of Samoa. The tribes were comprised of individuals from all different backgrounds with the same ultimate goal: to be the Sole Survivor. While 16 of the contestants are new to the competition, two are former castaways who have returned to seek Redemption. In the end, only one will remain to claim the million dollar prize and title of Sole Survivor. The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.
