'Prime Suspect' Repeats to Replace Canceled "Playboy Club"

On the heels of "Rock Center with BrIan Williams" being tapped to replace "The Playboy Club" on Monday nights, NBC has subsequently confirmed repeats of "Prime Suspect" will fill the show's former 10:00/9:00c home until said newsmagazine rolls out on Monday, October 31.

The three-week stunt provides an additional showcase for the Maria Bello-led drama, which regularly airs on Thursday nights at 10:00/9:00c. Encores of the series had likewise been airing Saturdays at 9:00/8:00c.

As for "Playboy Club," the show's cancellation comes after last night's series low 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 - down nearly 30% from the comparable episode of "Chase" a year ago. It's understood the show is currently filming its seventh episode, however it's not clear if production will be completed.
