NBC's "Saturday Night Live" has added a pair of featured players, Nasim Pedrad and Jenny Slate. Pedrad trained with The Groundlings, a Los Angeles based improv comedy troupe, as well as at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Slate, also an alumnus of the UCB, was previously seen in "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon's" parody sketch, "7th Floor West."

SNL premieres September 26, with actress Megan Fox as host and Grammy Award-winning musical guest U2 (upcoming Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark).

"Saturday Night Live" is from SNL Studios in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels. Steve Higgins and Marci Klein are producers. Ken Aymong is supervising producer. Seth Meyers is head writer. Don Roy King directs.
