Parker Posey Joins Comedy Central Pilot CRAZY HOUSE

Variety reports that Parker Posey has signed on to guest star in the Comedy Central pilot CRAZY HOUSE from executive producers Nick Turner and Lee Rubenstein. Jeff Tomsic will direct.

CRAZY HOUSE follows two friends who accidentally put their landlord in a coma, plead insanity and are sentenced to an asylum. Posey will play Dr. Krimmens, the head of the hospital - a regular role if the show goes to series. Turner will star alongside Whitmer Thomas.

Also in the cast are Johnny Pemberton, Demorge Brown, Joe Urla, Lindsay Ames, Erik Charles Neilson, Kate Berlant, Eugene Mirman and Jay Oakerson.

Posey's upcoming big screen projects include The Architect, Grace of Monaco, Nebraska Horizon and Ned Rifle. Other recent film credits include HairBrained, And Now a Word from Our Sponsor, Highland Park and more. Among her TV credits are Louie, New Girl, The Good Wife, The Big C, Parks and Rec, The Return of Jezebel James, Boston Legal and more.

She also appeared on Broadway in 2000's
Taller Than A Dwarf.
