Nathan Silver's UNCERTAIN TERMS on VOD/DVD
Breaking Glass Pictures is releasing Nathan Silver's award-winning UNCERTAIN TERMS on DVD/VOD July 21, 2015. Written by Nathan Silver, Chloe Domont and Cody Stokes, UNCERTAIN TERMS follows a 30-year-old man escaping his crumbling marriage by retreating to his aunt's countryside home for pregnant teens.
Needing a sudden escape from the city, Robbie flees Brooklyn for the countryside to stay with his aunt who runs a home for pregnant teenagers. As the only man in the house, Robbie inadvertently becomes the object of the girls' attention... and affection. He eventually meets Nina, who is mature beyond her age and struggling with relationship troubles of her own. The more Robbie and Nina get to know each other, the more "complicated" their friendship becomes, stirring up jealously among the girls. In trying to save Nina from making the biggest mistake of her life, Robbie gets caught in a love triangle between Nina and her delinquent baby daddy, Chase.
UNCERTAIN TERMS played as part of IFP & Filmmaker Magazine's 'Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You' Series at New York's Museum of Modern Art in November. A favorite among critics around the world, UNCERTAIN TERMS also made IndieWire's Best Undistributed Films of 2014 list.
The film features an ensemble cast India Menuez ("Something in the Air"), David Dahlbom, Gina Piersanti ("It Felt Like Love"), Hannah Gross ("I Used to Be Darker"), Tallie Medel ("The Unspeakable Act"), Caitlin Mehner ("Christmas, Again") and Nathan Silver's own mother, Cindy Silver, in a breakout performance that won her the Clint Howard Acting Prize at the Sidewalk Film Festival.
