Lucy Lawless Set for Multi-Episode Run on PARKS & RECREATION
TVLine reports that Lucy Lawless has signed on for a multi-episode story arc on the upcoming season of the NBC comedy PARKS AND RECREATION. The actress will portray a single mom named 'Diane' who may turn into a potential love interest for Nick Offerman's Ron Swanson.
According to the report, Diane has "a small problem in her neighborhood. Ron and Andy are dispatched to help her, and Andy notices there might be some chemistry between her and Ron."
Lawless is best known for playing the title character of the television series Xena: The Warrior Princess. Her other TV credits include Battlestar Galactica, Spartacus: Vengeance, Spartacus: Blood and Sand and its prequel Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, playing the major character Lucretia.
Parks and Recreation is set to return for a fifth season on Thursday, September 20th.
