Investigation Discovery (ID), America's leading destination for true crime programming, announced today the return of its hit series I AM HOMICIDE for an all-new season. Retired Charlotte Mecklenburg County detective Garry McFadden is an officer unlike any other. As one of America's most dedicated detectives, he immerses himself on every street corner to protect and serve the community he has devoted his life to defending. Over his career, McFadden has solved nearly 700 homicide cases, resulting in a 90-percent success rate with the investigations he pursues. But he uses his street smarts, and most importantly his relationships within the community, to forge a deep connection that goes beyond the search for the perpetrator. His dedication to the pursuit of justice is equally as important as the lives of the families he has vowed to protect as if they were his own. I AM HOMICIDE premieres with an all-new season beginning Tuesday, June 6 at 10/9c only on ID.

McFadden is well-regarded among law enforcement for his unorthodox methods of cracking cases - most often operating out of the local diner to conduct interviews instead of the precinct. His fiery passion is punctuated by a knack for pursuing justice while wearing the best suits in town. In 10 all-new episodes, viewers will witness his most unique and diabolical cases, from his run-in with a local white supremacist that resulted in a cross-country manhunt, to a harrowing murder in which the only witness was a three-year-old child.

Episodes featured in the new season of I AM HOMICIDE include:
