Frank Ocean Rumored to Be SNL Premiere Musical Guest

Hitsdailydouble.com reports that recording Frank Ocean is set to be the musical guest on the 38th season premiere of NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. The performance would mark Ocean's debut appearance on the sketch comedy series. He is currently promoting his album, 'Channel Orange.'

NBC confirmed last week that Saturday Night Live will kick off its 38th season on September 15th. A guest host for the episode has not yet been announced. It was also recently confirmed that popular castmembers Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliott have exited the show. No word yet on the status of comedians Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader. 

Saturday Night Live will also air two pre-election specials in primetime on September 20 and September 27.
