BEAT SHAZAM welcomes a new DJ! Actress, model, and writer Corinne Foxx. Daughter of multi-award winning actor and BEAT SHAZAM host Jamie Foxx. Corinne joins her father on the all new second season of the hit interactive music game show as DJ!

In 2016, model and actress Corinne Foxx was named Miss Golden Globe by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The daughter of award-winning actor and BEAT SHAZAM host Jamie Foxx, Corinne recently appeared as "Rachel" on the cable series "Sweet/Vicious." She next will appear in her father's feature comedy passion project, "All-Star Weekend," which he wrote, directed and stars in, along with Eva Longoria. Hosted by Grammy-, Golden Globe- and Academy Award-winning actor and musician Jamie Foxx ("Ray," "Django Unchained"), and produced by Mark Burnett ("Survivor," "The Voice"), Jeff Apploff ("Don't Forget the Lyrics!") and Barry Poznick ("Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"), BEAT SHAZAM is an interactive game show that pits teams of two against the clock and each other as they attempt to identify the biggest hit songs of all time. In the end, the team with the most money banked will outlast the competition and go against Shazam, the world's most popular song-identification app, for the chance to win a huge cash prize. During each episode of the series, the teams will go ear-to-ear for the chance to BEAT SHAZAM. In each round, Foxx presentssongs from various musical genre categories, ranging from "'80s Favorites" to "Beyoncé Hits." Teams hear a song and try to identify its correct title before all the other teams. As the rounds progress, quicker pairs continue building their banks, while players with the lowest dollar amount are eliminated until only one team remains. That team plays man-versus-machine and attempts to BEAT SHAZAM! Shazam is one of the most popular apps of all time, used by hundreds of millions of people to magically connect to the world around them. Building on its pioneering leadership in music identification, Shazam now helps people discover, interact with and share audio, video, printed or augmented reality content - and lets music fans follow their favorite artists to share in the thrill of discovery. The app has been downloaded over 1 billion times, in over 190 countries, and users Shazam over 20 million times each day. BEAT SHAZAM was created by Jeff Apploff and Wes Kauble and is produced by Apploff Entertainment and MGM Television in association with Shazam.
