CBS News Nominated for 37 Emmy Awards; 60 MINUTES Receives 26

CBS News once again took more Emmy nominations than virtually all its competitors, garnering 37 in all, more than any other news organization or cable network. Twenty-six of the nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences were for 60 MINUTES, the most nominated single program. THE CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY was recognized with two and shared three more with CBS THIS MORNING, followed by CBS SUNDAY MORNING with four, and one each for 48 HOURS and FACE THE NATION.

The 37th Annual News and Documentary Awards will be presented at a ceremony Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.
