On Thursday, October 21, Los Angeles got a tubular taste of Hawkins, Indiana! Following the STRANGER THINGS 2 Premiere in Westwood, California, the cast and creative team geared up with guests to kick off the show's second season in Stranger Things style at UCLA!
Following the red carpet premiere, guests were transported to the town of Hawkins for the evening (and even got a taste of the upside down, as well)! Thankfully there were no demogorgons around, so BroadwayWorld went on the scene to bring you exclusive photo coverage of the event!
The entry to the afterparty was fashioned after the Hawkins Town Fair. Much like the second episode of the new season, it prepared guests for a Halloween inspired night.
As partygoers entered the venue, the spirit of Hawkins was captured with our protagonist's favorite mode of transportation- their trusty bikes!
Food, beverages, and "prizes" were on display in this Hawkins Fair game tent! We're happy to report that there was no shortage of sweets so D'Artagnan could have some nougat.
A cutout of the gang's Halloween costumes helped guests get into the show spirit/spooky spirit! This was one now-memory we were stoked to have.
The bar was decked out with drinks and decorations! Can we have some eggo waffles with that?!
The pumpkin patch was just as cool as you'd think... Although there was no gate to the Upside Down, we still had our fair share of fun!
Even though we didn't have to search for Will, we still grabbed our flashlights for THE HAUNTED Pumpkin Patch maze!
Jim Hopper was a little busy tonight, but we did find his patrol car!
The Stranger Things 2 Photo Booth! Thankfully they didn't capture my reaction after Bob encountered that demgo-dog...
UH OH!!! The photo booth took me to the upside down! Where's Barb?? Oh wait...
The night came to a wonderful close... Can't wait for Stranger Things 3. Now off to the Snow Ball!
