Is this Appalachia? Find out the secret of Appalachia at its finest when you spend the evening at the annual Valentines Dinner Show and Opry.
Hilltop Designs, located in the foothills of Appalachia on the outskirts of rural Winchester Ohio, has joined with The Central Ohio Opry Band to bring you a night of fine food and family entertainment that you and yours will not forget. One last thought to entice your adventuresome side - picture all of this in an elegant formally decorated reception hall with twinkling lights everywhere.
This Valentines event will surely be a memorable experience. It is presented by hostess, Jo Hall, owner of Hilltop Designs. Jo is excited to share her renown selection of foods that she has personally handpicked from her favorite Kentucky ovens saying she's confident it will satisfy the most discerning palate. A delicious piping hot dinner consisting of two meats, steamed vegetables, a variety of salads and topped off with breads will be professionally presented buffet style. Jo has captured the essence of sweet in her Appalachian "sweet" tea and lemonade and will surely "whet your whistle". Nothing is better than freshly brewed coffee to top it off and compliment the evening's savory dessert.
Taste buds satisfied and anticipation building, sit back and enjoy the good ol boys from The Central Ohio Opry Band. They will put their best Branson foot forward and present a opry performance that will leave you wanting for more. The show will take place center stage and close-up to give that feel of being able to reach out and touch the seven performers. It has been stated that during the opry people will join in with the singing and even get up and dance. The Central Ohio Opry Band is composed of seasoned country music veterans that have spent years honing their craft. They will each present their own musical story to the stage that night. They thrive to keep the sounds of Classic Country and Bluegrass music alive with excellent music, singing and harmonies. Each of the seven has performed with some of country music's finest. Once in a while, a female vocalist pops in for a special number with the good ol boys. The boys are rounded out with keyboard, bass, fiddle, drums, two guitars and a lead vocalist.
If you are one of many that are fond of eating and love music and family oriented entertainment, then prepare yourself for a treat, but please note that reservations are required and seating is limited, so make a reservation soon as seating is limited. Valentines Dinner Show and Opry on February 14, 2014 from 5-9pm. The cost is $40 per person and covers dinner and opry.
