Six Flags White Water announces the introduction of the all-new Typhoon Twister, the first water ride of its kind in the state. This unique ride sends riders barreling down an enclosed five-story drop before shooting out into a 67-foot bowl, then spins them down into a corkscrew drop chute before splashing into the pool below!
"With the addition of Typhoon Twister, guests will experience an entirely new level of thrilling, water park entertainment at the region's largest water park," said Dale Kaetzel, park president. "This is unlike any other water ride in the area with its five-story drop and corkscrew chute riders will get the sense of being in an actual typhoon."
Six Flags White Water is the Southeast's largest water park with more than 20 attractions and 50 slides. Thrill rides include Tornado, a six-story funnel that is sure to get the heart racing, and Cliffhanger, one of the tallest water rides on the planet. Cliffhanger takes guests down a nine-story free fall to create quite a big splash at the ride's end. Six Flags White Water is also home to three interactive kids areas, where families and children of all ages can splash and play all summer long.
The park's operating hours during opening weekend will be 10:30 a.m. 6 p.m. The park is open daily from May 25 through August 11.
