Bicycle Adventures Celebrates 30th Year with Retro Pricing
The leader in North America bike tours, Bicycle Adventures, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year by offering retro pricing -- $1,984 -- for each of nine four-day tours in a new 1984 Tour Series including three urban-adventure tours, several National Park locales and an Olympic or sprint-distance triathlon.
"I'm excited to be able to offer a line of tours commemorating the founding of Bicycle Adventures in 1984," says Todd Starnes, president/owner (http://bicycleadventures.com/) "We're proud to say that we're still family owned and operated, and that we've stayed true to our roots: you can still ride your bike every single day on our trips at a pace most comfortable to you."
The 1984 Tour Series are all four-day/three-night trips for a range of ability levels. Included in the $1,984 rate (per person, double) are fine lodging and dining, cycling with a mix of other activities, bicycles and other necessary equipment, and full guide and van support. A sampling of 1984 Series trips includes:1984 - Death Valley National Park: Guests ride through the biggest National Park in the Lower 48. At host accommodation, Furnace Creek Ranch, guests can fit in a round of golf (at the course with the world's lowest elevation), go horseback riding or just sit in the sun by the pool. The trip begins and ends in Las Vegas. Departures are Feb. 16, Mar. 2, 6, 13 and 16, and Oct. 12.1984 - San Juan Islands
