Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel Sets August's RLife Live Events

Fresh off the popularity of July's RLife Live series, Chicago's newest hotspot to indulge and relax, Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, 1 West Wacker Drive, Chicago, has announced their exciting RLife lineup for August, featuring a delicious mashup of beverage and music choices for guests and locals alike. RLife Live events are a true sensory adventure transporting guests to a life less ordinary. Through these parties, guests can enhance the element of discovery with live events in the lobby and entertainment from local emerging artists. Entry to the events is complimentary, with food and beverage available for purchase.

As part of the brand's long-standing dedication to supporting local musicians and emerging artists, Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel will host back-to-back RLife music events. R&B fans will rejoice on Thursday, August 6th with a night of R&B with Bianca Exson. The local artist makes her debut in the Artist Studio from 5-7 p.m. Renaissance's resident DJ, scratch DJ Academy rocks the Artist Studio the following Saturday, August 8th, 15th and 22nd from 9 p.m.-12 a.m.

It's not an August in Chicago without the Air and Water Show. Following the popularity of their Lolla-inspired cocktails, Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel will offer guests a savory, aviation themed cocktail menu on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th from 5-9 p.m. Stop in for the Peruvian Plane- Pisco, a blend of crème de violet, maraschino and lemon, or the Fuel Tanq, a refreshing cocktail featuring Tanqueray.

Renaissance puts A Twist on Jazz on Thursday, August 20th from 5-8 p.m. Local jazz artist Laury Shelley pipes out classic and current hits with her own spin. Known for having one of the most versatile voices on the music scene, Laury has been called "the real deal" by Rick Kogan of the Chicago Tribune and was named Artist of The Month from WLFM Chicago's Smooth.

The perfect way to end the month, Renaissance presents Tequila and Tacos on Thursday, August 27th from 5-9 p.m. Guests can sample flights of Don Julio Blanco Reposado and Anejo Tequila, paired with Chicken Tinga Tacos, Pork Al Pastor Tacos, or Beef Machaca Tacos (only $3 each).
