The Palais Royale, South Bend's Premier Event Facility, will host a holiday office luncheon party on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Start a new holiday tradition by treating your team to a luncheon in the historic ballroom of the Palais Royale. Join a shared party with other businesses to celebrate the holiday season together. Come and enjoy the feel of a BIG holiday party for a SMALL holiday price. Reservations can be made for a group of any size - from just one or two people to a table of ten or more.
The event will feature a delicious buffet by Chef Tonya McGowan including roasted turkey, smoked ham, hazelnut crusted white fish, holiday favorites, hot apple cider, holiday deserts and much more. Door prizes including two tickets to see STOMP at the Morris Performing Arts Center in January, and festive decorations will be provided. Free parking is available at the parking garage located at the corner of Main Street and Colfax Avenue. All you need to do is make your reservation!
The price is $26.50 per person (plus tax, service charge and historic preservation fee.) A cash bar will be available at additional charge. Reservations are a must. The Palais Royale is located at 105 West Colfax Avenue, in downtown South Bend. The historic ballroom opened in 1922 and hosted all the major big bands of the day. Duke Ellington, Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Guy Lombardo and Cab Calloway are just a few of the great bands seen at the Palais in its heyday. There were dances every night of the week and the Palais was the place for countless celebrations, performances, dances and gatherings.
