Lakewood College Selected as One of the Best Employers in Ohio

Lakewood College is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the Best Employers in Ohio for 2014 by the Best Companies Group (BCG)!
BCG is an organization dedicated to establishing "Best Places to Work," "Best Companies" and "Best Employers" programs in an effort to distinguish companies who demonstrate and are superior in workplace excellence. BCG researches and analyzes the company culture, employee feedback, and other characteristics of a wide array of companies. The very mission of Best Companies Group is to "identify and recognize" places of employment that are leading the way in defining the employee experience of the 21st century.
Lakewood College is honored to receive such recognition. Since its origin, Lakewood College has strived to recruit and employ the best professionals in their field to service its students. "We believe in working hard at Lakewood College, but we also have fun," says Lakewood College President, Tanya Haggins. Vice President of Administration, Summer Haggins, believes that the "No Fail Hiring System" that Lakewood College implements to recruit and hire new staff is the reason for much of Lakewood's success. "We have a very rigorous hiring process that we use for all prospective employees. Our hiring process may be a little longer, and a little more thorough than some other places, but afterwards we're left with some of the best employees in the industry."
