L.A. LIVE to to Host 'Summer In The City' Events

L.A. LIVE will host six special outdoor 'Summer In The City' events throughout the upcoming summer months that will feature L.A. LIVE's popular Downtown Dark Nights & POPUP Marketplace, along with new comedy and family-oriented events, including Round Up at L.A. LIVE, the ultimate country street party.

L.A. LIVE launches this first ever 'Summer in The City' as local "Happy Hour" style celebrations for the people that live and work in Downtown Los Angeles. Most L.A. LIVE restaurants will be offering $5 food and drink menus all night long.

The dates of each event were specifically chosen because there are no other major events scheduled at L.A. LIVE including STAPLES Center and Nokia Theatre. This makes it a perfect night to easily come to L.A. LIVE restaurants with little traffic and congestions.

2015 SUMMER IN THE CITY EVENTS:

JUNE 2015

· Friday, June 12, 6pm-late night

Downtown Dark Nights The best nights for locals to enjoy live music and art, street performers and special $5 food & drink menus at participating restaurants.

· Tuesday, June 30, 6pm-late night

Teeny Tiny Tuesdays The night kicks off with exclusive happy hour celebrations at participating L.A. LIVE restaurants followed by a 9pm comedy night at Club Nokia for only $10.

JULY 2015

· Saturday, July 11, 12pm-6pm

L.A. LIVE Family Day features free activities and entertainment for the whole family along $5 food and drink specials plus kids menus. The Minions movie opens at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE this same weekend so make a Family Day of it and see the movie and take advantage of all the interactive games, prizes and Minion appearance!

Round Up at L.A. LIVE The ultimate country street party with a massive cornhole tournament, live bands, line dancing, mechanical bull rides, $5 food & drink specials and more!

AUGUST 2015

· Thursday, August 13, 6pm-late night

POPUP Marketplace Shop over 60 of LA's best indie makers, crafters and artists under the starts. Enjoy $5 food & drink specials and live entertainment.

· Friday, August 25, 6pm-late night

Downtown Dark Nights The best nights for locals to enjoy live music and art, street performers and special $5 food & drink menus at participating restaurants.

In addition to the six special 'Summer In The City' events, the following three L.A. LIVE promotions will run all summer long featuring:

· Dinner and a Movie-Special menus priced at $30, $35 and $40 at participating L.A. LIVE restaurants that include a movie ticket to Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14.

· $1 Kid Movies at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 showing popular kids movies at 10am during every Tuesday and Wednesday from June 23-August 19. Tickets are only available on the day of the event.

· $8 Tuesdays at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14...every Tuesday all movie tickets are only $8 (excluding 4Dx titles and holidays/same day releases).
