Howard Johnson Hotels Offer 35 Percent Off With Happy Monday Promotion

Howard Johnson hotels are launching of "Happy Monday," a new promotion that lets travelers save 35 percent off midweek stays at more than 370 participating hotels in the U.S. and Canada when they book on a Monday.

To participate, travelers must first visit www.hojohappymonday.com and opt in to the promotion by sharing their email address. Once they do, they'll instantly receive a message with a special "Happy Monday" discount code that can be used at www.hojo.com, allowing them to book a midweek stay at their favorite participating Howard Johnson hotel in the U.S. and Canada at 35 percent off the rate of the day.

"For any number of reasons, Mondays have a historically bad reputation," said Kevin McCabe, senior director of marketing for Howard Johnson. "Howard Johnson, on the other hand, is known for happiness. With this latest promotion, we're doing our part to make Mondays just a little bit better by offering an unprecedented 35 percent off at U.S.- and Canada-based participating hotels."

Howard Johnson's Happy Mondays promotion applies to stays booked by May 20, 2013, and completed by May 23, 2013 and is available only through www.hojohappymonday.com and www.hojo.com. The discount code can be acquired any day of the week but can only be applied for bookings made on a Monday during the promotional period.
