Hammacher Schlemmer Introduces 'The Fold Flat Luggage'

Hammacher Schlemmer today introduced The Fold Flat Luggage, a soft-sided suitcase or carry-on that compacts to less than half their size for space-efficient storage.
The luggage is made from durable yet soft nylon twill fabric that holds its shape when in use yet folds to less than 7"-wide for convenient storage.
"Unlike typical luggage that requires precious storage space in a closet, The Fold Flat Luggage slides into the included clear PVC bag and can be kept under a bed or on a shelf when not in use," explained Hammacher Schlemmer's General Manager Fred Berns.
The Fold Flat Luggage has a large padded exterior zippered pocket and two zippered interior pockets ideal for a passport and cell phone. The bag's top and side padded carrying handles, a telescoping aluminum handle, and two smooth-rolling polyurethane wheels allow ease of navigation through airport terminals.
"The Fold Flat Luggage holds enough clothes for a three-day trip and weighs only 5 1/2 to 7 3/4 lbs., providing optimal storage without excessive bulk," explained Mr. Berns.
