Goedemorgen Amsterdam! The limousine and chauffeur service provider Blacklane expands to the City of Canals
Following the more than successful launch in London and on the Cote d'Azur, the Berlin-based limousine service Blacklane has approached the next neighboring country and is now offering its services in Amsterdam, the 'City of Canals'. Business travelers, tourists and residents of the metropolis alike are hereby offered a new alternative for airport transfers, business meetings or exhibition transfers.
"Schiphol Airport is one of the major traffic hubs in Europe," says Frank Steuer, founder and director of Blacklane. Amsterdam, however, is much more than just a stopover on the way to other international destinations: As an important financial center and home to numerous companies of global significance, the city is also one of the top destinations for business travelers from around the world and attracts a large number of tourists throughout the seasons. "What could be better than being picked up upon arrival directly at the airport gate, instead of having to deal with your luggage and check for public transport or free taxis under time pressure?" Steuer adds.
Regular destinations include the fairground, the 'Zuidas' business district and hotels in the greater Amsterdam area. Trips to the neighboring cities Den Haag or Rotterdam are quite common as well: "Our customers appreciate the comfort, luxury and reliability of the Blacklane service," explains Steuer. The company offers its passengers a binding fixed rate which is transparently displayed on the website or smartphone app. Dr. Jens Wohltorf, co-founder and Director of Blacklane adds: "With our expansion into the Netherlands, we get one big step closer to our goal - accompanying our passengers as a reliable partner during their whole journey, door to door and in between."
The positive feedback of the passengers and local partner companies during the test phase shows that the black sedans have been well established in the passenger transportation business. "We have observed that along with a lot of local customers many existing customers follow us into new markets," Wohltorf is pleased. "And our partner companies in Amsterdam certainly welcome the additional income provided by Blacklane."
The limousine service can easily be booked with just a few clicks either via the smartphone app or on the website www.blacklane.com. Three distinguished vehicle categories are available to the clients, from business class limousines to luxury vans and first class sedans. In Rome, Blacklane is currently cooperating with ten chauffeur companies which are operating more than 25 limousines in total.
Altogether, Blacklane now bundles round about 500 companies with more than 800 vehicles under one roof in the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, France, the UK and Germany.
