Call Moab, Utah, Nature's counterpart to Manhattan, the city that never sleeps. Moab doesn't sleep either, even when the calendar turns to fall and early winter.
The rafting is still good on the Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River through October. And stand up paddleboards can still be pulled over the water.
