Frontier Airlines Extends Schedule and Announces Expanded Seasonal Service

Beginning today, travelers can book their Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year travel with Frontier Airlines offering flights though Jan. 5, 2014 at FlyFrontier.com. As part of the fall schedule, Frontier will be resuming nonstop seasonal service in several markets, including:

  • From its Denver hub to Palm Springs, California, Cozumel, Mexico, and San Jose, Costa Rica
  • From Bloomington, Ill. to Orlando, Florida
  • From Indianapolis, Ind. to Cancun, Mexico
  • From Kansas City, Mo. to Cancun, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
  • From Madison, Wis. to Orlando, Florida
  • From Milwaukee, Wis. to Cancun, Mexico
  • From Omaha, Neb. to Orlando, Florida
  • From Salt Lake City, Utah to Cancun, Mexico

Also, due to the enthusiastic response of customers, Frontier will be extending the seasons for service from Denver to: Eugene, OR; Greensboro, NC; and Knoxville, TN.

In celebration of this announcement, Frontier is offering fares as low as $99* one way (all transportation fees and taxes included) at FlyFrontier.com through June 6, 2013, for travel Aug. 20, 2013 through Dec. 18, 2013.

"We are excited to extend service in these seasonal markets," said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's senior vice president, commercial. "Travelers in the area will continue to enjoy our low fares to Denver aboard our comfortable A319 aircraft, featuring DIRECTV service in every seatback and five rows of STRETCH seating, now through the winter holidays."

The service in all three markets will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft - featuring 30 channels of DIRECTV service available at every seat on most aircraft. Additionally, these flights offer five rows of comfortable STRETCH seating with an additional five to seven inches of legroom, and the airline's SELECT seating product. Frontier's website, FlyFrontier.com, offers the guaranteed best fares and is the only place STRETCH and SELECT seating is available at the time of booking.

Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, June 6, 2013. Fares are one way for domestic travel August 20, 2013, through December 18, 2013. Round trip not required. Blackout dates of August 29-30, September 2, November 23-27, 30, and December 1-2, 2013 apply. A 14-day advance purchase applies. Fares are valid from origin to destination only. Seats are limited at these fares and certain flights and/or days of travel may be unavailable, especially during busy travel periods. Tickets are nonrefundable, but depending on the fare type purchased may be transferred for $50 or reissued for alternate flights for $50, as well as a possible fare increase to a non-promotional fare type. The name change fee and itinerary change fee are not exclusive of each other. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets. Flight segment(s) must be cancelled prior to scheduled departure time or the ticket(s) and all monies will be forfeited.

Fares reflect purchase at FlyFrontier.com. Tickets purchased at FlyFrontier.com or by calling Frontier's reservations centers must be paid for at the time the reservation is made, but may be cancelled for a full refund without penalty up to 24 hours after the time of purchase. Depending on the fare type purchased, up to a $25 fee may be charged each way for the first piece and up to a $30 fee each way for the second piece of checked baggage. Fares shown include all transportation fees, surcharges and taxes, and are subject to change without notice.

Some markets do not offer daily connections. Due to schedule changes, markets may not connect throughout the valid travel period.
