Delta Adds New Service to Aspen

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will add new nonstop seasonal service to Aspen/Snowmass, Colo. with daily flights from Atlanta and Saturday-only flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul, effective Dec. 21, 2013.

Aspen/Snowmass is one of the top skiing destinations in the world, offering more than 5,000 acres of snow-covered terrain as well as world-class lodging, dining, nightlife and arts.

With its new service, Delta is the only airline to offer daily nonstop service to Aspen/Snowmass from the Southeastern U.S. Combined with Saturday-only service from Minneapolis-St. Paul, the flights will provide convenient connecting opportunities through two of the world's largest hubs.

"Our new service now allows our customers to conveniently experience the many winter sports and cultural activities that Aspen/Snowmass has to offer."

The new service will be operated by Delta Connection carrier, SkyWest Airlines, using a two-class, 65-seat CRJ-700, featuring nine First Class seats and eight Economy Comfort seats. Customers will have access to in-flight Wi-Fi as Delta operates the largest Wi-Fi-equipped fleet in the world, including all Delta Connection two-class regional jets.
