Walt Disney World (WDW) in Orlando is the perfect vacation for couples. Whether it is a honeymoon, anniversary, special birthday or weekend getaway, it is a great destination. And now is a wonderful time to plan your next vacation.

The amenities at WDW are ideal for grown-up fun and there are marvelous opportunities whether you are visiting Orlando for a few days or more. With flexible park passes, the options are endless.

For many years, my husband and I took our four children to delight in the parks during spring break vacations. While these were completely enjoyable trips, the pleasure of Disney took on a whole new tenor when we recently returned, just the two of us.

Walt Disney World features extraordinary landscaping and guests can simply relax and admire the botanical splendor. Beautiful gardens compliment the unique style and ambiance of the individual theme parks.

Travelling as a couple, you don't have to plan your visit around kid-friendly attractions. For the first time, we decided not to go on any thrill rides and there was still so much for us to enjoy.

There are experiences that we found uniquely suited to our interests such as "The Hall of the Presidents" at Magic Kingdom, the "Kilimanjaro Safari" at Animal Kingdom, "Living with the Land" at Epcot and "The Great Movie Ride" at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

You can browse the plethora of shops in a leisurely fashion and take full advantage of the opportunity to purchase items that are distinctively Disney.

Late nights become great nights at Epcot's "World Showcase" where guests can sample delicious cuisine from around the globe. Stop by the Disney Boardwalk or Downtown Disney for even more nightlife fun.

There's no end to the magic at Walt Disney World in Orlando. It's simply a couple's paradise.
