Equity regional theatre company TheatreZone and Opera Naples are teaming up again to present the inaugural "Bel Canto to Can Belto" fete at Clive Daniel Home in Naples on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm.

The first-ever event presents Opera Naples artistic director Steffanie Pearce and TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni previewing both organizations' upcoming season with selected operatic and theatrical performances taking place amidst the elegant sofas, gourmet kitchens, luxury linens, lighting and floor covering galleries.

Theatre performances include actress Brigid Kegel, first seen by TheatreZone audiences as Olive in last year's production of "The 25th Annual Spelling Bee," and cast to play the beautiful but slow-witted courtesan Philia in TheatreZone opener "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" and fan favorite Broadway actor Larry Alexander, who wowed audiences playing Bobby in last season's "Company" and Frank Schultz in the TheatreZone/Opera Naples combined production of SHOWBOAT. Mr. Alexander will also star as the Baron in TheatreZone's production of "Grand Hotel" in January 2013 and as Dan in "Next to Normal" in March 2013.

"Enjoy drinking wine, nibbling delicious hors d'euvres from The Jolley Cricket restaurant and socializing with old and new friends," says Danni. Tickets to both organizations upcoming performances will be available for sale at the event.

Bel Canto to Can Belto is free and open to the public, but reservations are requested. Call Opera Naples box office at (239) 963-9050. Clive Daniel Home is located at 2777 Tamiami Trail North in Naples.
