doubleVee (mem of Starlight Mints) Release Debut Album 'the Moonlit Fables of Jack the Rider'

Hailing from Oklahoma City, doubleVee is former Starlight Mints frontman Allan Vest and producer Barb Vest. After a successful PledgeMusic campaign, reaching 100%+ of their goal, the duo is now excited to release its debut album, The Moonlit Fables of Jack the Rider today via CEN/RED Distribution, a division of Sony Music.

The Moonlit Fables of Jack The Rider is a concept album following the story of the traveler Jack, who descends into a world reminiscent of The Twilight Zone where nothing is exactly as it seems. His history unfolds with each sonic tale on the album, as the songs accompany him along his way. After Barb bought Allan a DNA testing kit for his birthday, he found not only his half siblings but musical genes with his birth father having owned music stores in Houston in the late sixties and his birth mother being a guitarist and artist. Independent Clauses says it's "an incredibly cool, distinct concept album" and "the ten songs are a trippy wander."
