Today, the Toronto born-and-bred R&B singer/songwriter known as a l l i e shares "Bad Habits," the first single from her debut album Nightshade. The new song is part of her 10-track opus scheduled for release on July 21st. The mood-setting sprawl of keyboard percussion on "Bad Habits" is provided by producer Birthday Boy. She finds herself losing control and giving in to the temptation of her "bad habits."

Her previous shows aligned her with international acts such as SZA, Kelela, and Tink. With an arts grant awarded to her by the Canadian government, a l l i e is able to explore her creative range without limitation.
