Willa Amai Releases HARDER, FASTER, BETTER, STRONGER Cover

During Grammy weekend, up-and-coming singer/songwriter Willa Amai was front and center with her cover of Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" for Intuit QuickBooks' "Backing You" campaign, which celebrated music and small business owners who "dare to dream and follow their passions." Now Amai's powerful single is available to stream and purchase today across all digital platforms.

A young yet well-versed singer, Amai offers a new dimension of artistry to the song with her seemingly inherent vocal capabilities that amplify the force behind the lyrics. Since late 2016, she has worked as a protégé of multi-platinum producers Linda Perry (Gwen Stefani, P!nk, Christina Aguilera, Dorothy) and Kerry Brown (Smashing Pumpkins, Miley Cyrus, Ziggy Marley) at We Are Hear, a combination record label, publishing house, and management company.

The songwriter was discovered at a recent event with only a microphone and a piano, which led to the Intuit QuickBooks collaboration, with Amai and We Are Hear as part of their "Backing You" campaign to celebrate and honor those who work for themselves. Amai's personalized take on "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" attests all of her efforts thus far as a creator, and acts as a universal anthem to hardworking champions.

The "Backing You" campaign, created in partnership with Intuit QuickBooks' new creative agency of record, TBWAChiatDay LA, is also available now on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, where it has already received over 5 million views. Fans of Amai can tune in for a Facebook Live performance at Intuit's headquarters on February 7 via the Intuit QuickBook Facebook page.

Willa Amai is a singer/songwriter born in Los Angeles, California. She attributes much of her craft and melody to color synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon that connects letters, numbers, and sounds to color.
