Verboten Hosts Third Annual 'Big Brooklyn Holiday Toy Drive', Now thru 12/15
Get into the holiday spirit with The Big Brooklyn Holiday Toy Drive taking place from today, November 14 through December 15, with a special event at Verboten on December 11. Sponsored by Verboten in conjunction with the Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce, East River Ferry and more, The Big Brooklyn Holiday Toy Drive aims to benefit local kids in need.
To kick off the toy drive, Verboten is offering reduced admission to any Verboten event between November 14 and December 15 with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy or game (for children 14 years of age and under), and free entry all night to the show on November 14 with Eric Volta, Bedouin, and MC&Hammer [live/DJ].
On Thursday, December 11, Verboten will be hosting a special event with open bar, appetizers, great music and raffle prizes. Cover charge for the event is $25 or unwrapped toy (valued at $20 or more). All proceeds from the door and the raffle go directly to purchase additional toys for the toy drive.
